Hi.

There are several faults that can cause the car not being able to shift in all gears.

In case you can use only park and neutral, check the stop lights, and relative fuse.

If the car is stuck in second and reverse, the problem is different.
It can be a faulty transmission solenoid, a gear box problem, or a faulty TCM (transmission control module). There are more faults that can cause the problem. See on a similar problem:My car does not shift in second gear.

Ensure that transmission fluid had been replaced and at level

Go to the nearest mechanic and do a code scan. This can be done for free at auto zone.
The scan will tell you if there are error codes stored, and usually will address the nature of the problem. If you get P0700, that means that the TCM must also be scanned. In that case see:I get code p0700 after an OBDII scan.
After doing the scan you can reset ECU adn TCM by disconnecting battery cables for five minutes. Ensure that you have anti theft code available if needed.

To fix it you need to test the car. There is a fault.

I can list here all possible causes, but that does not help if you do not test.

    Possible faults are:

    Low transmission fluid.
    Bad TPS (throttle position sensor)
    Faulty TCM(transmission control module)
Bad data from VSS(Vehicle speed sensor)
    Faulty Transmission switch solenoids.
    Slipped component inside transmission.
    Faulty transmission box.

    Testing is done:

Doing code scan on ECM (main computer). The scan if free at autozone.
Doing a scan on TCM (transmission computer)
Reading voltages at TPS while pressing the pedal.
Testing wiring and solenoids for continuity.
If nothing else is found, working on transmission box.

If you start doing a code scan you can come back here with codes, and we can address the problem better. Unfortunately we do not have hands and tester on your car to fix the problem.

    Regards.

Seat wont move back

Open the door and pull back the boot that covers the wires. You should be able to push it into the door to give a good look and room to splice the broken wires. Put the boot back when done.
