Depends on a few things...but in Australia it generally costs about $300 for a mechanic to do it....

Pads are generally $50 AU for front and $50 AU for back...
Fluid about $20
Labour about 2 hours..

If your discs are no good and need to be machined / replaced then you will need to have extra work done...

It sounds that there might be a charging system problem. Check all connection to the battery terminals. If no success ther have your charging system checked

if you mean the brake light switch, almost all of them today are located so the brake pedal can actuate it. Look around under the dash. You should be able to see it.

Try replacing the Oil Pressure Switch/Sending Unit. It should only be a couple bucks at your local auto parts store.

TIMING BELT REPLACE

Like oil, filters and other belts- manufacturers recommend timing belt replacement based upon car miles (usually 60,000). The belts are not expensive- maybe $20-$40- but replacement can be onerous, leading to high costs to replace at the shop- $300 for a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer.
The risk of not replacing the timing belt is that it can break, and depending on the type of engine in the vehicle- repairing the resultant damage can easily run over $1500.
