This actually is not abnormal. The brakes on your Porsche are high performance and therefore wear aggressively. Driving styles can cause more damage. If you "ride" your brakes, it will put more heat in the rotors and wear them more quickly.

E-300 30k miles needs new brake pads and rotors on front . Is this normal to have to replace both bads and rotors after only 30k niles

Normally, the Rotor has only 30K then it can be resurfaced. If it has a deep grove at the edge and the estimated thickness after resurfaced not meeting spec then it should be replaced.

The 2008 cayenne factory installed phone worked when new but not for the last year. What happened? What can I do? The local dealership knows nothing about the phone.

the phone has to be activated(subscription paid)by the owner for it to work,it has possibly lapsed...(you only get 12 months)you will have to call the service provider to reinstall the service....try the original/selling dealer,

Squiling Sound while releasing the brakes

I agree it is the brake pads and rotors. If it has been doing it for 6 months then it is pretty likely you need to replace the rotors. Had you replaced the brake pads soon after you started hearing the squeal, you might have gotten by just replacing the pads and not the rotor.

Rotor life

No, the stuff installed from the factory sometimes is junk. a good aftermarket set of rotors will prolong the life of them.
