Question about 1992 Dodge Ram 250
1992 dodge w-250, took her in for a service, noticed the truck wouldnt fire up like she used too. Droped the new filter, 1/2 full of fuel ! (I dont think her primed the filter, plus it was cranked on very tight)! Put a new filter on, full of fuel, wouldnt start. Bleed the lines one at a time, truck started, ran her 30 minutes. She ran good, parked her overnight, same problem! Should I bleed the lines again?? Same way??
It sounds like you are talking about a diesel engine as gas engines are self priming. Lift pump or primer pump may be defective. Check for loose fittings or lines and damaged o-rings at filter housing. Sounds like you are sucking air somewhere.
