If it is a 4 cylinder it has a chain. If it is a 6 cylinder it has a belt.
It has a timing belt. These are interference fit motors and if the timing belt is not replaced at recommended mileage intervals the belt can break causing SEVERE engine damage. Check your service manual for correct replacement schedules. With routine maint. and belt service your car should give you many miles of service. Good luck
