Pull the handle on the left of the driver seat or use the key. If none of these works, drop the rear seat-backs down and look into the trunk cavity (with a flashlight) for a glow-in-the-dark handle near the trunk latch and pull it. This will pop the trunk open.
Many vehicles have a fuel shut off switch that cut the fuel pump of when the vehicle is in a collision, I believe the one on the Honda is located in the trunk (boot), it looks like a relay with a button on top, the button needs to be pushed down to reset, you should hear a click. If it is not in the trunk, look across the bulkhead or inner wing area, a Honda agent may give you a better location.
It is on all cars, and SUVs, it is a pressure release door/flap that allows air to escape the trunk area when you attempt to close the trunk. Otherwise the trunk would be hard to close as you would be creating a air pressure within it.
In some honda s the PISTON and the VALVE share the same space ,check if your honda does or not ,because you wil have to re build that motor if that happens, timing belts are at every 90,000 miles
