I am going to guess that you have a 3208 cat in that truck. The fuel
filter could be either a single or duel setup, with a dual filter they
are usualy side by side(primary+secondary) and most often mounted with a bracket to the fire wall or frame. Connected to the
injector pump with braided hose. The single should be mounted
close to the pump. Also check the line back to the tank, if you have
dual tanks, go to the one with the standpipe or feed tank.(the one with the lines coming from the top of the tank) Somone may have
put in an inline filter. If this information is for repair and not maintenance, that engine has an electric fuel shutoff in case of
low oil pressure or overheat. I hope I was of some help.
Good luck.

Failed co emissions

If the cat converter is aftermarket, most of them are inadequate to reduce emissions enough on a big motor.

NO POWER ON MY 2007 F650 . RAN OUT OF FUEL AND EVER SINCE THE TRUCK DRIVES 25 MPH ONLY. CHECKD FILTER OK.

YOU STATED YOU CHECKED YOUR FUEL FILTER. YOU CAN'T JUST LOOK AT IT. DIESELS REQUIRE FUEL ON DEMAND. IF YOUR FUEL FILTER IS NOT FLOWING THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF FUEL YOU WILL NOT GET THE PERFORMANCE FROM IT. THERE HAS TO BE A FUEL RESTRICTION THERE SOMEWHERE. CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER OUT WITH A NEW GOOD QUALITY FILTER. ON CAT DIESEL ENGINES A CAT PRIMARY FUEL FILTER WILL OUT FLOW A GENERIC FUEL FILTER EVERY TIME. TRUST ME, YOU HAVE A FUEL RESTRICTION PROBLEM. YOU GOT TO THE BOTTOM OF YOUR FUEL TANK AND SUCKED UP SOME GARBAGE TO FINISH THE FILTER OFF. FUEL FILTERS IN DIESELS SHOULD BE CHANGED EVERY 15,000 MILES AT MINIMUM. I RECOMMEND EVERY 10,000 TO KEEP PERFORMANCE AT PEAK LEVELS.

Fuel filter replacement

If you have replaced the fuel filter, check fuel pressure if ok, check for possible pluged cat. converter.

Hard starting

Coolant temperature sensor sounds like it went bad. It is reading that the engine is warm all the time, so the computer is not commanding additional fuel for startup. Easy and cheap fix.
