Most cars have several computers. For ABS brakes and traction control, it's usually in the engine compartment. For other functions, could be engine compartment, trunk, under a front seat, under the dash, in a kick panel next to the driver or passenger seats, etc. Also look under the rear seat, especially if the battery is located there.
passenger side seat has a switch built into it that says someone is setting there. may be faulty . or something under the seat pushing up against it. simple fix snap the seatbelt on the passenger side. switch will have a wire connection under the seat, replace switch if need be. brake light blinking this could be simple as the emergency brake isn't fully released or it may be low on brake fluid. also some cars tell if a bulb is blown
The light flashout code 37 means you have a problem with the passenger's side airbag. There are 4 different trouble codes that all have the 37 light flashout code. If you took it to your dealer they would scan it for codes and could narrow it down to which of the 4 codes you have. I have found with these the most common thing is for someone to have kicked the wiring connector under the passenger's seat. Take a look there for bad connections.
If your speedometer is not working, that means your Vehicle Speed Sensor or VSS for short, needs to be replaced. The ABS light means your ABS sensors need to be replaced. There are 4 ABS sensors: Front driver's side, Rear driver's side, Front passengers side, and Rear passenger's side. Once you replace your VSS, it will start communicating with your transmission again, and the speedometer will kick in. Hope this helps.
yeah the fuses and circut breakers are under the right side kick board( passenger side) where the floor meet the side. There should be a small door, pull it off. Just snaps in. The mini and some standard fuses are in there. If you are looking for something else more powerful fuses called maxi's are under the hood on the passenger side also. on the cover its called power dist. box pry it off and then look inside the cover for a guide to whats what. The one under the dash on the kick panel is barely readable for some things like the abs. otherwise you'll need the owners manual or a haynes book ( which really doesn't go into the fuses)
I need to replace the rear passenger-side seat belt buckle clasp but the clasp (under back seat) is connected to the seatbelt for middle backseat passenger. Can I replace just the passenger side without disturbing the middle belt?, cheers,Jen.
