Hello Durham.
Couple of possible problems here.

Does the odometer work? If it does your speedometer is defective and will need replacement.

Or if your check engine light is on your speed sensor or wiring will likely be the issue. This will also affect the odometer.

How to reset your speedometer & tach on a 2005 Pontiac Montana.

If your 2005 Pontiac Montana's speedometer and tachometer does reset back to zero after you shut it off, put you ignition switch on and off until it resets. You might have to do this again after a few trips until it is permanently reset. The speedometer & tach will act up sometimes when your battery was run down or disconnected and has not been used for awhile.

I have a 2000 potiac montana gas gauge is on full or empty what can i do to fix it

Replace the fuel sending unit it is in the tank. I would check the voltage going to the guage first make sure you have 12 volts at the unit.

Gs guage dont work

The sending units fail in these vans. Have it replaced, I always suggest replacing the fuel pump and sending unit as a complete unit.

2004 Pontiac Montana problems with my speedometer, gas, and temperature guages varied readings on the highway 120km plus the reading goes to 200km the gas meter sticks at 3/4 tank and the temp guage is...

It gets a little complicated here but I will tell you what it can be. Devective dash voltage regulator, lost ground at sending unit, break in wire going to the dash, bad sending unit. Check the fuse, may fix it. Other then that, you will have to check these parts. If you have another question, write me back. I will help the best I can. Thanks for choosing FixYa.
