I have a 2004 ford F150. I need to cahnge the fuel

I have a 2004 ford F150. I need to change the fuel type from Super Plus (premnium) down to Super Unleaded. When I put Super Unleaded into my truck I receiving a Message on my Predator Troubleshooting machine. i know can I change the type, but I do not understand all the Abbv. on the hand held machine. Thanks Johnny

Uhh, what type of Ford F150 do you have? Are you driving the Lightning? All gasoline-powered Ford trucks run on good old 87 octane regular.

I would run a couple of tanks of the new gas through it, and see if it clears up. This will give the sensors and and modules a chance to discuss and accept it.

It's not the sensor , check the FPDM - fuel pump driver module. Watch these videos . Voltage drop test the electrical circuits , check scan data etc....

I changed my fuel filters on my 6.4 l f150 2008 now won't start .I cycled engine but smelled a faint smell and saw light smoke from under hood .charge batt.still won't spin .did started go out too

Not sure about your truck older Fords have 2 fuel pumps 1 in the tank & 1 under cab drivers side. Anytime you change a pump you must change your filter. also check your fuel line if it has been pinched or has a leak pressure will drop

Hi. There is a ground wire on the frame about half way back. Be sure there is a good connection. Plus check every other ground wire. Do Not spend money on parts until you have cleaned every ground terminal!! This is an on going prob with Ford.
