My jaguar 2001 x type jag has a warning on dashboard that say dsc or dcs failure can i get this warning to go away from dashboard and what is the fault

THIS IS YOUR DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL MODULE ..PLEASE CHECK THE FUSES FOR THE DSC...IF THE FUSE IS GOOD THEN YOU HAVE DCS MODULE FAILURE...

DSC means "Dynamic stability control" it is caused by some kind of failure in the ABS/Stability control system, it all one system. You will need to seek a dealer out to find out the exact cause of the warning

SOUND LIKE FAULT IN A WHEEL SPEED SENSOR OR ABS BRAKE UNIT.. BUT HAVE JAGUAR DEALERSHIP CODE SCAN ABS HYDRALIC MODULATOR BRAKE UNIT. SEE WHAT FAULT CODES SHOW UP.

There is a harness that you unplugged for the rear tail lamp. Make sure it is fully pressed and locked. This is always the cause on jags for tail lamp failure.

could be anything from a tail light bulb out to a engine sensor ,take it to a jag dealer

All the DSC does is senses the tire spinning and compensates, unless your tires are getting poor traction your tire size should not affect its operation, I have an S Type sport package in which I added larger wheels and tires and have not had any adverse affects. I would suggest having your vehicle serviced by jag and maybe even having your stability control unit replaced if they deem necessary. Hope this helps

I suspect this could be your battery at fault.

Get it heavy discharge tested first.
