I need to find timing marks for a 1.8 liter nissan sentra gxe (2003). i don't think it was timed right cause the car won't start now.

did you replace your timing belt ? or you just can 't visually see the marks , did you clean them off , and paint them , or rub chalk over them so you can see them ? is this you problem ? or are you 180 degrees out .

I have the same problem with my 2003 nissan sentra gxe. I don't know about under the hood, but I was told that the gas filter needed to be changed. Something's wrong with the gas intake to the engine. I had it "fixed" but it still does it a little bit everytime.
