where do i find the chassis and engine number

Chassis number is the same as your VIN# on the drivers corner of the dashboard near the glass. The engine number location varies with the particular engine but is rarely relevant to anything unless you are doing a vintage restoration.(most internal parts are interchangeable within certain engine sizes, outside components are vehicle and year specific) A replacement engine of the same size may carry a different number but the bore, stroke and compression ratio (stuff that matters) will be the same.
