Try powering the windows with each door open. I have a 98 Century and since my passenger side front door lock actuator is shorted out I have to have the front passenger door open when opening/closing windows.

SOURCE: the driver's side power window is stuck half way up on 1998 buick century limited. What is the problem?

It could be the fuse, does it go down? If not chk. fuse, if fuse ok, see if you can help it down by pushing down on window wile working switch, and also same wile trying to go up, if it don't work or if its slow chanses are the motor is tired and needs replaced or its lost power like bad switch or broken wire. there is also a chanse it came off the track in witch case the door panel will have to be removed.

SOURCE: 98 buick century , with auto climate control ,

is it HOT or just not as cold. If its HOT, like heated air, there is a door problem, if its just not cool, the a/c refridgerent is low and will need a recharge, most likely the comp is leaking.

Chech oil. If it has coolant in it you may need to replace the intake manifold gaskets and lifters, if you have not ruined it already.

2001 Buick Century. Where is the power window relay in the vehicle please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to sub category.

The windows have a breaker, but it may be the switch or a break in the cabe between the door and the body.

My 98 Buick Century Custom AC control switch does not change from low to high

This has happened to me before. The problem is the resistor. Power is good, motor is good. Just not when you try to route power through the resistor first. That's why high works but no other setting.

Need to replace the master power window switch.

No, I just took out the wood panel off of mine and open the black box once you get it out. You will be able to get access to all buttons and take them out and replace them if you need to.
