My car's inside fan stays on even when in off mode and when i turn off my car, the fan stays on full blast mode. I have had to disconnect the battery to keep it from draining it. today after connecting the battery and started my car a light came on with reduced engine power and my check engine light came on as well today.

When I turn the engine off the engine cooling fan stays on and does not shut off

depending on the engine temperature the fan is supposed to remain on after you turn the engine off, until the engine reaches a preset cooler temperature. when it reaches cooler temperature usually within 5 minutes or so it should cut off... if you cut it off and it is running 30 minutes later.. then there is a problem with the fan relay or temperature sending unit.

Why does the Airconditioner condenser and radiator fans stay on and run continuously without turning off on my 1999 honda accord whenever the a/c is turned on? This started happening after I had a front...

Sounds like a micro switch problem.
the relay is staying and saying on even when off. An electric program test should fix the problem. They are small diagnostic machines that plug into a socket either under the bonnet or in/near the glove box.

Blower running full power - unable to control

your high speed fan relay contacts are stuck together that power the fan, normally the selectot switch on the dash controls power to the relay for on and off,but when the contacts weld themselves together you no have control over the fan speed even with the key off,its probably under the hood in a black box marked relays and fuses, remove the relays one at a time till it kills the fan, sometimes hitting the offending relay on the ground will break the contacts loose, but still replace it

1999 Olds Alero. Low coolant light comes on and stays on even though its full. Starts running hot to the 3/4 mark. When the heater is turned on it cools off. Could this be the thermostat or the water pump.

TAKE RADIATOR CAP OFF WITH ENGINE COLD AND CHECK WATER ..MAKE SURE RADIATOR NOT BLOCKED,,PLASTIC BAG ETC. THIS SOUNDS LIKE LOW WATER OR RADIATOR ..STOPPED UP INSIDE ..IF YOU HAVE GOOD HEAT IT'S FULL OF WATER. REPLACE T STAT B4 RADIATOR..IT'S CHEAPER. ALSO CHECK FOR RADIATOR COOLING FAN OPPERATION..I,M RULING OUT THE WATER PUMP.

2001 Chev Cavalier blower fan intermittent

The power connection to the fan motor on these is known to overheat and cause a bad connection. The fan motor is above the passengers feet.Next time the fan motor will not come on, switch the selector to high and wack the bottom of the dash above the passengers feet.If the motor does come on at that time, you may need a replacement fan motor and connector.REPLACE the fan speed resistor board when replacing the fan motor, which is right behind the fan motor.

Passenger side fan stays on

If the heater blower motor resistor failed then the heater will stay on full blast to keep your window clear, for safety. If the key is turned off and the fan still blows then I suspect you have an ignition switch problem. Main power comes from the key switch to feed the heater system. The plug at the ignition switch could be melted and making contact or an internal switch problem. The switch is located on the steering column under the plastic cover.Unplubbing the switch should help diagnos the problem.
