Check all four wheels and see if the wiring harnesses are all completely connected to the wheel sensors. If one is cur off by road debries it will affect the braking

check fuses..If the fuse blows the light comes on and the ABS system is not working..Or possible the abs motor is shot. In any rate it is a good idea to look into it as soon as possible. You ABS system is not working. You still have brakes but the anti lock system that prevents skids will not work

last 30 years. Any light on dash, means a possible system
failure (govt mandated emission lights) You have it checked
for codes and repaired, as soon as possible.
Your ABS computer sees a problem with the abs system, most likely a sensor dropped out. You will need to have it scanned by a shop that has the capability to access the abs computer. Not unsafe to drive, but the abs wont work while the light is on.
ABS stands for Anti-Lock Braking system. The system could be triggered if you are on wet pavement or sliding and the brakes cannot properly control the vehicle deceleration. The vehicle could also have a fault in the ABS system due to a wheel sensor that is corroded or damaged. if the ABS system is functional u will have no ABS warning light showing in the dash except when u first turn the key on, that is a prove out to show the indicator light is working. If the ABS has a problem of any kind the light will always stay on when driving and the system will be disabled..
ABS STANDS FOR ANTI LOCK BRAKES. FIRST CHECK THAT YOU HAVE THE PROPER AMOUNT OF BRAKE FLUID. IF THE FLUID LEVELS ARE OKAY, THEN YOU PROBABLY HAVE A FAULTY ABS SENSOR.
