Where is fuel filters located for a ford 250 2002 van
On the inside of the frame rail just below the drivers seat under the van

The fuel filter is located inside the driver's side frame rail about midway (close the transmission).
They have special retainer clips. The new filters usually come with a plastic tool to release the clamps on the fuel lines.

Follow the fuel line right up to the carb or throttle body. Sometimes it's a very small "metal can" looking thing that is on the carb end of the fuel line...surprisingly small...not like the bigger in-line filters found along the frame rails on other models. This small can-like filter screws into the carb and the line is attached to same. It's about the size of a quarter in diameter and an inch and a half long.

the fliter is rite before the rear driver wheel. u will need a disconnecting tool to remove the line from the filter. ten min job the most. make sure to have a old rag to catch the run away fuel or just remove the fuel pump relay, crank the van and let it run until it dies then removr the lines.make sure to put the new filter on the rite way
