This problem may be caused by a bad window switch on the driver door.also there is a problem with the wiring coming into that door, the wiring breaks where the door higes are, theres a rubber boot where the hinges are that contain the wiring for that door, also the door lock actuator may be bad or may be related to the window problem, you will need to test for power and ground on the driver door master window switch, remove the switch and make sure the the wiring connection to switch is on good and tight. good luck, hope this is helpful.
Probably bad master window switch in driver front door. Your description is vaque. If driver front door switch doesnt operate the other windows, but they all work from each of their switches, than start with the driver front door master switch. May be worth your time to check wiring in door jam before buying the switch.
Hi,.... If the switch will not lower any of the windows even the one on that door it is not the motor. If their is only one connector to the switch ( be sure that it is one, salot of times it's actully split in 2 but plugged in tight together making it look like it's only one. One for windows and one for doorlocks) If it is one then it is a bad switch. I hope this helped you out. MIKE-
Check your window lockout switch, it will either be on the drivers door or the console. It's there to keep kids from playing with power windows. Check your fuses inside the cab and under the hood for window fuses. The door lock problem would be a defect inside the drivers door since both locks are wired together. If this is sometime that just happened I would suggest you contact your insurance company to see about attempted theft damage. Someone could have slipped in a SLIMJIM and messed the wires up in the drivers door. A body shop could tell once the door panel is removed.
