your vehicles computer has found a fault engine light doesnt go away by turning car on and off need to go get code read most auto stores offer this for free the code will give you a starting point towards fixing your problem

Get a manual online, it contains info on the model, instructions on how to repair, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, every little thing. Here's the link to website from where my father started buying, and interestingly... he's a part time mechanic now! Best Manuals

run the fault codes
check for vacuum leaks on all vacuum hoses
check fuel pressure
use quality injector cleaner

When was the last time a full tune up have been done? A bad intake gasket would do that.

The best fix for this is droping some chevy parts in there chevy 350 with a stronger t400

I use to have the same problem until engine warms, I change the oil, oil filter and the air filter and the problem dissapear

I have the same problem, the car will turn but will not start, I can hear the fuel pump not working and haved checked all the fuses, still dont know what else to check.

The top radiator hose should connect to the thermostat housing, bolted onto your engine. Make sure you get a new gasket.
