WON'T START EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS LIGHTS RADIO I KNOW YOU SAID TO TRY THE BATTERY CABLES WE LET IT SIT TIL TODAY AND DECIDED JUST TO START IT AND IT STARTED RIGHT BACK UP WITH NO PROBLEM WE DIDN'T TOUCH ANYTHING WE WANTED TO SEE FIRST AGIAN BEFORE WE STARTED MESSING WITH THE WIRES THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTTS

Daniel, If battery is known to be good, could be bad connections at battery, starter/solenoid, or ground on engine/frame, battery cables also could be bad with build up of corrosion internally. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

did you check battery could be death.Gas pedal is moving,under steering wheel any wires damaged.It is full park position.

you have a shorted battery (have it tested) or there is a loose connection. A starter motor pulls a large amount of current when it engages, a loose conection or shorted battery will all the voltage away from the dash,lights etc.

Check all fuses ,wiring anywhere short or check alternatour

Sounds a lot like it's been under water.
I found unplugging things 1 at a time and reconnecting shaves the corrosion off. Check the Earth wire as well. Door sensor sounds like it's slightly out of alignment.

You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem.
Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ?
It could be a relay, the ignition module, coil, fuel pump, or a list of other things.

You need a new battery, it is triggering the secuirty system lock out

you would want to make sure everything is turned off in the truck and doors are shut. Take the positive battery cable off, connect a test light to the positive cable and the other to the battery, if there is a drain, the test light will light. Try pulling 1 fuse at a time til the test light goes out. Also have the battery tested to make sure it holds a charge.

power reduction relay or more commonly the ignition switch

check the battery cables and the ground connections as the car is older and corrsion can give you troubles like this.
