Sometimes when i try to give the car gas a service light w/wrench comes on and trani shifts hard in 1st and 2nd. pulls up a "trottle" code. what needs to be replaced?
Sound like your Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) has an issue. Check the wire leads first and if that is good, replace the TPS. A faulty TPS will give you a hard 1-2 shift and delayed shift on the higher gears at WOT. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to know your car is running 100% again.

I had the exact same thing happen to my L300. Took it to Saturn and they said it was the PC Solenoid and it would cost about 1200 to fix. It been doing it intermittently for almost a year now.
Think the pedal sensors ??
this is one of THEM type of faults and in all honesty i would need to have a drive and my greasy hands under the bonnet to sort it out

I have the same problem with my 2003 L300... has anyone gotten theirs fixed or a solid diagnosis? mine seems to do it more often the closer i get to and the farther past the oil change mileage.
@jthad52801- did you get yours fixed? was it $1200? or if u let it go, did it get any worse?
