on the fuse box lid, there is NO fuse listed for cigarette adapter. As all OEM outlets are fused, I suspect it located somewhere else. I wanted to find out where that was at.. anyone??
check all of your fuses then check if theres any power to it. Check the voltage is high enough. Some adapters may not fit the outlet, check the end of the adapter to ensure it sticks out far enough. See if the gps has an internal fuse as well.
I would check directly behind the outlet first, it sounds like the movement over the years may have caused the pos, and neg wires to un sheath, and touch. Then, if possible, trace back from there to power source, shouldn't be too awful to locate. Hope all goes well.
