2004 Yukon got to where gas pedal had to be on floor to start in cold weather. this morning was very cold and it will crank but wont start at all, fuel pump is good.

Sounds like you cold start injector may have gone bad. Pushing a gas pedal to the floor usually stops a fuel injected vehicle from allowing fuel into the cylinders, try pushing the pedal about half the way instead of to the floor and have the cold start injector checked or changed.

2004 grand am se v6 sometimes wont start unless gas pedal is pushed

when you say -turn over do you mean firing-turning over to me means the starter motor is cranking or turning over-firing is when combustion happens in the cylinders-as far as the cranking continuing-try some wd40 in the ignition switch-it may be hanging up-Denny

Engine wont start, unless I push the gas pedal and keep my foot on it.?

Could be a dirty throttle body, or a stuck idle air control valve.
Is the check engine light staying on now ?

Will turn over but wont start

On the drivers side fuel rail there is a shrader valve port with a blue cap, touch the shrader valve and see if gas squirts out, you may get a little to begin with, the crank the car and test is again, if you have nothing the second time then you are either out of gas or the fuel pump has failed.
If you have fuel then the car could be flooded, this is a common issue with the early Jaguar v8's.
You would need to crank the car and half accelerate, then slowly push the pedal all the way (which shuts off the fuel believe it or not) then back to half way, keep fluttering the pedal and you can usually get it to run, but be careful as it will smoke once running.
There is usually not an issue with spark on these cars, the crank sensors never fail.
