It is more than likely you will have to replace your heater core.unless it is a hose leading into it.

Is the leak antifreeze? If so, this is a heater core problem. Usually, they are located in between the firewall, and the dash. If you are able to do this repair yourself, be prepared for frustration, and a good length of time sitting in the car trying to fix it. You may want to just bite the bullet, and pay the money to have a shop make the repair. From personal experience, this is not a fun fix. Best of luck, and I really hope this helps!

A couple months ago I had water draining onto the pasenger compartment floor below the blower motor. Recently the blower motor stopped working? Do you know what parts I may need?

the water leaking issue may have cause the blower operation issue. there is a drain for the a/c housing that comes out at the bottom side of the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle under the hood that likes to clog up and build water in the housing. the water then runs into the blower motor causing corrosion in the motor and usually the connector at the blower melts as well. the blower is easy to change, the connector is not as easy but shouldn't be too bad. the blower can be found just under the glove box and has a 2 wire connector

Heat come through onl on passenger side

Look for a hole or opening in the fire wall from under the hood.
Wire harnesses, AC lines and heater hoses usually have a grommet that closes off the air leak where they come into the passenger compartment. One may have rotted or simply pulled out. If pulled out, work it back in.
If you can get under the dash with the seat pushed all the way back, you can put a drop light under the hood, get under the dash and look for the light coming in. If you see anything.....PLUG IT!! :-)

Rain water leaking from under glove box, heater area, is not antifreeqe, iam sure it is rain water

The evaporator drain might be clogged. Get under the truck or open the hood and look for a rubber nipple coming out of the firewall on the passengers side. Try sticking something in this hole to release whatever might be stuck in there, usually leaves or sediment. Be careful, don't go crazy pocking something in there. The evaporator core might be near the drain hole, you don't want to poke a hole in it.

91 gti 8valve overheating problem blows coolent smoke on the..

Hi,
I'm not familiar with your model to know if you have an engine temp guage or a light that would come on if the engine is overheated. You said the motor wasn't overheating under the hood... but you have an overheating problem? Maybe just a tad bit more info...
Are you losing coolant?
The water pump if bad, would probably leak or make terrible racket.
Just to take a shot at it, since you said it blows smoke through the dash... I'm assuming a kindof white smoke with a rather sweet smell? Have you noticed any wetness on the passenger floor at all? If yes to any of this, I would suspect as you mentioned, a leaking heater core. Hope this helps... Good luck!
