Visually inspect around bottom of waterpump. There's a "weep" hole - it's an early warning system for waterpump before bearing seizes. Also check passenger carpet/floor up to firewall - possible heater core leak.
This all depends on the engine size, there are four types of engines that come in this van , but at the bottom right its the waterpump or the a/c compressor, if its the ac then you will need to replace the compressor but if its the waterpump the pulley is not the problem but rather the waterpump is bad, grab a hold of the pulley and see if it shakes if it does then the waterpump is bad and also you should be leaking some coolant if its the pump, here are a few diagram to help you.
OK, disconnect neg battery cable, drain cooling system, remove splash shield under right front fender for easy access to water pump bolts, loosen clamps and disconnect hoses from pump, remove drive belt, remove water pump pulley bolts, remove pulley (tip: loosen bolts on pulley before removing belt), remove water pump bolts (5) , separate from the front cover, clean the bolt threads and the threaded holes in the front cover to remove any corrosion and sealant, remove and discard o ring and clean mating surfaces, careful not to gouge or scratch mating surfaces, install new o ring into the groove, install the pump to the front cover and tighten to 105 INCH pounds, pulley bolts are 21 FOOT pounds.Good Luck! countrycurt0
