Hola Raquel, que parpadee la luz de tablero, no es indicio de bateria baja, tendrias que probar encendiendo las luces altas, si no prenden, entonces si tienes problema de bateria o de carga de bateria, deberias revisar los fusibles de luz de tablero y los conectores que van al tablero

Usually when the battery light is constantly on when running the alternator is not charging properly or the wire from the alternator to the battery is damaged. If your battery is good the car may run for quite some time if headlights and heavy drain accessories are not used. Suggest you have the system checked at a local chain auto parts store like Advance Auto who can tell you if your car alternator is charging or not.
It is telling you there is something wrong with the power steering system. It cuts the stereo to draw your attention to the warning light.
Check the level of the power steering fluid is correct.
