Under the hood - follow the wires to the back of the headlight assembly and remove the connector. Remove the lock ring around it and coax the old bulb out - it is held in with a rubber sealing ring. Make sure the new one snaps back in the correct position. The bulb will only fit in in the same position as the old one. Reinstall the lock ring and the wire connector.

The problem might have already been there, the steel wheels are making it noticeable, because they don`t cool down as quick. Most likely is the calipers sticking,or you have a set of high dollar brake pads on the vehicle, and they are heating the rotors up.The high dollar pads are a very hard composite pad witch produce a lot of friction, and heat as a sort of side affect.

SOURCE: How do you change the headlight bulb in a 2006

OK here's the CORRECT Answer. First; take some masking tape and heavy paper and cover the chrome and bumber under the headlight ( Because you WILL SCRATCH IT ) then open the hood and on top of the headlight assembly you will see two silver bolts that hold the assembly to the car. Remover them, then you have to wiggle the assembly out of the from of the fender body. It has a clip on the bottom and on the side that just slide in and out but are really tightly held in there. BE CAREFUL AND PATIENT.
Then there is a black rubber cover on the back of the assembly, take that off and then carefully put your hand inside and twist the wire harness and bulb out together. If you have a med-large to large hand FORGET IT, you won't be able to do this. You will have to get someone with a smaller hand because you have to be able to manuver your hand inside the assembly.
NOW, make sure to remember EXACTLY how the light twists out of the assembly AND DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB/ GLASS WITH YOUR Fingers-SKIN.

The headlight bulb access is from behind the headlight lamp, under the hood

SOURCE: How difficult is it to

Both the battery and the headlights are easy to access and replace. For the headlight, you replace it from the engine compartment. Basically remove the cover (about 3 inch diameter rubber) reach in the access port and you can find the light's housing. Twist to unengage it and you can pull the housing out. The light bulb will be exposed and simply pulls off.

How to change a headlight bulb in a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

Most all bulbs today are replaced through the back of the lens assy. Youll need to look under the hood and find the light sockets. then you can turn them 1/4 turn to unlock them and pull out. New lamp should not be touched with fingers, install is same, plug new lamp into socket, insert into reflector and turn to lock.

Sensor light on, checked at auto store told ,cooler relay fan not functioning in the 2006 pacifica, would like to know where it is located and how to install it or is this a job for an auto mechanic

The cooler/ radiator fan driver relay is located in the black box just behind your drivers side headlight assy under the hood. It is your power distribution control. You can follow the printed diagram on the cover to locate the relay you are in need of replacing.
