The power windows just stopped working the driver window is the only one that works i have checked the fuses and the child lock nothing works

DR/LCK fuse 20 amp - location - under hood fuse box , check this first . Just the driver's power window doesn't work or all windows don't work ? Power locks don't work with key fob or from driver door master switch ?

I would think fuse... Unlikely to switches go out at the same time. Is there a child lock...If you run out of things to check..With a little work you can switch the front switches to the back and the back to the front to see if they light up and work. But I would check the wires to see if your getting power to them first

ON THE DRIVER SIDE BELOW the window is a child safety lock for the other windows unlock it

Look under the hood fuse no. 12 should be for power windows. Or maybe something like a bad ground wire in drivers door harness.

Dear kaydynandtri, If you have the owner's manual find the power window relay. They are usually located in the fuse box. Check to see if there is another relay that matches that one and switch places with them. If the windows work or the accessory the relay came from does not the relay is bad. If this does not work I would replace the driver's door power window switch. I have also seen the wire break on older cars where it goes into front of driver's door.

Make shure the button lock windows on your arm rest is not engaged,check fuse on power windows,because all windows have a seprate motor it would have to be the power to them. On the rear doors they have a child safety switch that stops the window from working!

Sounds like a bad master switch, bad wiring to the drivers door, or bad body control module.

at times in the drivers side door where it opens there is a boot. A wire may have corrosion on it , and possible snapped

Try pressing the child safety window lockout button 20-30 times and see if it starts working. This has worked a few times for me.

Check the fuses first. If that dont work take the door apart the wiers have problably lost the connection due to kids and chocolate.
Gotta love them tho.
