In the trunk (aka Luggage Compartment in England) life the panel to expose the spare tire. Fuse box should be on right side, near bumper. Take off top. Should be fuse 11. 10AMP accessory fuse. facing the car from the front it should be at the left hand side at the rear, take fire wall shelf off for an easier access.

Usually the warning light means one of the tail lights or brake lights is out.

The fuse box should be on the right hand side located at the heal of your shoe if you were sitting in the rear seat behind the passenger seat. its a 25 Amp fuse #14

can't you find a manitenance charger that plugs into the lighter socket? The Ford GT wensie talks about a good one all the time. Not sure how it hooks uo though.

look in your owners manual for fuse location. if you dont have one look in a chilton or hays book found at any auto part store.

The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the fuse box on the driver side of the car under the dash. It is a blue 15 amp fuse.
When you open this fuse box, you will see some larger relays with 4 rows of fuses below it. The fuse you are looking for is the first fuse in the 2nd row. in the 2002 X-type, that fuse is a little taller than the other ones.
