You know they had a ton of recalls on that particular tranny a few years back and i would suggest taking to a shop and let them run a pressure check i think you will find one of the internal clutch packs/ drums is weak which means the tranny needs to be torn down and fixed

What is the drive cycle for a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE?

Take extra caution while performing dirve cycles on public roadways. Drive cycles can be difficult to follow under normal driving conditions. Begin by: - Start the engine. Idle the engine in drive for two and a half minutes with the A/C and rear defroster on. - Turn the A/C and rear defrost off, and accelerate to 55 mph at half throttle. - Hold at a steady speed of 55 mph for three minutes. - Decelerate (coast down) to 20 mph without braking or depressing the clutch. - Accelerate back to 55 to 60 mph at ¾ throttle. - Hold at a steady speed of 55 to 60 mph for five minutes. - Decelerate (coast down) to a stop without braking. If all other emissions systems are functioning properly, completing the drive cycle above will set the "readiness flags" required to pass the smog check. It will not hurt to perform the drive cycle 2 or 3 times before the smog test.

Can i drive in other gears on the highway besides being in drive...I have a 99 Lincoln continental? ?

you should use the highest gear possible to allow over drive to kick in, other gears will slow and limit the speed you can drive ,and stress the tranny

I have 2003 Kia Sorento automatic car, but when the gears are changing from the high gears to the lows gears it delays what are the possible courses. Thanks

I would change tranny filter and fluid first . Run it. If okay you have fixed it. If problem still exists have diagnosis done it may be the speed sensor dirty or needs replaced.

2003 automatic VW Passat not changing gears right

The trannys on the vw's are weird, they actually have a brain which tells the tranny what to do, when to switch gears under the driving conditions etc. Is thair a check engine light on? when is the last time you had a tranny service done on it? Also, it sounds even weirder, but is your alternator ok, is it putting out the proper volts to the battery? the alternator not charging the system can lead to alot of weird acting issues.
