The trim snaps in, no screws! I have used a hook type screwdriver, the kind used to install springs... I carefully insert the tool between the lower left corner of the radio and the bezel. Rotate the tool 90 degrees toward the bezel and pull straight out. Id say it comes off with maybe 15 pounds of pulling force. The radio is screwed in with brackets. You'll see once the bezel is off. **Keep in mind that many Optimas use an external amp located between the right rear door and wheel well. Also, some use 2 ohm speakers, all the way around. You may need to change all of it to upgrade your sound system, I did**. Good luck!

Remove the facia plate, and remove the 4 screws that hold the radio in place. It's actually one of the simplest cars you can do.
