I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Silhouette with a 3800 engine. The engine will turn over, but will not start. I am not getting any fire to the coal pack and the injectors want pulse. I have replaced the ignition control moduel and the crank sensor, with no luck. Could this be caused by the engine computer, or do you know of something else that can cause it?

Amke sure that any ground wire has not broken off on the wiring harness. There should be a grooup of wires that ground at the belhousing close to the starter. One of them is the ground for the ignition/coil.
FYI, when the cam sensor goes bad, the engine will go into limp mode. Double check you crank sensor, that it is pluged in. That plug is an extension and make sure the other end is plugged into the ign module. You may have a total of 3 plug-in on the module.

Hi Lamont is fuel getting up is fuel pump ok ?disconnect hose by engine just to test pump but b care ful let fuel collect in jar don't want any fires also first u might like to check fuse
If 3800 engine the timing is 1-6-5-4-3-2
If 2.8L or 3.1L or 3.4L timing is 1-2-3-4-5-6
Coil packs on 3800 are (1 / 4, 5 / 2, 3 / 6)
Coil packs on 2.8L or 3.1L are (1 / 4, 6 / 3, 2 / 5) 1995 earlier across the front from right to left.
Coil packs on 3.4L are (5 / 2, 3 / 6, 4 / 1) 1996 across the back from right to left.
I have a 93 oldsmobile silhouette and while driving down the road it sounded like something fell out of the motor and it died. It try to crank but won't fire. We replaced the coil pack but it is still doing the same thing. Please help
