1. Seek a replacement switch via a local salvage yard.
2. Look in a Haynes manual ($20) for direct directions as to how to remove and replace it.

If the switch is simply sticking you can clean it using CRC QD Electronic Cleaner. Use the straw to shoot the cleaner in the gaps between the switch and face plate and then work the switch. (TEST A SMALL AMOUNT FIRST with a rag - this stuff can on occasion melt some plastics) better to know before you completely melt the button.

My driver side window fell down & the electric switch won't raise it.l

If the switch is broken, you can put the switch down, short circuit closed first, if is bad, there is no way to the machine. Had better find a repair shop.car key programmer

Windows on passenger side front and rear won't work, up or down.

He could have been more helpful and explained it's likely some broken wires in the door openings. Check carefully the wire harness in the front driver's door and in the passenger front door, where wires get stressed the most when opening and closing doors. The driver's window switch is the master switch for all windows, check there and the other doors openings for broken wires. Splice back together any broken wires you find and recheck windows. Hope you find it. If not there, but somewhere else in the harness, you would probably need professional help to find it.

My 2001 toyota sienna window will not go up how do i diagnose the problem

The window switch on the driver side is probably it but you can check this. Take the switch out and short the two wires together. If you hear the motor engage than it is the switch.

Windows won`t go up or down

Power windows usually use a circuit breaker (in the under dash fuse panel) rather than fuses or relays.
If no windows work, check for broken wires in the driver's door opening, going to the master switch on the driver's door. Or pull the master switch out and check for a hot wire there with key on. You can also check the ground there too for the windows. The ground for the windows will start at the master switch and go back inside the car, possibly grounding at the left kick panel.

Driver side window does not want to close

Most common problem is a broken regulator. If you press the button to open or close you should hear the motor click. If nothing is heard then your switch could be bad, wiring could be bad, motor could be seized.
