You need to check it when it takes one of its fit and don't work, using a test light turn key on and blower fan switch on high, now go to blower motor with a test light ,should be under and behind glove box, check the wires going to blower for voltage,it will only have two wires, one hot and one ground.,if your test light lights, replace motor,if no power replace resistor

My heat only works sometimes. One time I will start it and it will come right on, the next time it wont. If I hit a bump it will sometimes come on till I shut the car off again. Any ideas?

When you say heat only works sometimes are you talking the blower fan only running once in a while if it is the fan your talking about it sounds like a loose connection either on the switch or possibly on the blower mother itself

Heater blows no heat

  1. check to see if you have voltage to your blower motor with key on and blower motor switch selected to a speed setting
  2. if you have voltage, then your blower motor is faulty
  3. no voltage means that you have a blown fuse, bad relay, bad fan switch, or bad blower motor resistor.

Blower for heat and AC

Try this. When the blower is not working open the hood. Locate the blower on the passenger side near the firewall. Most likely it is covered with a thin rubber piece but it may not be. Turn the key to the run position. The engine does not need to be running. Turn the blower speed switch to high. Tap the blower with the handle end of a large screw driver. If the blower starts to work replace it.

No heat and the defrost is the only place air will come out. Some time ago in the spring the a/c would not work then it started working but now the heat does not, and you get no get air flow from the vent...

Check fuse for blower motor, it is a 30amp fuse behind the plastic panel that is to the left of steering wheel, you must open the driver door, open up the fuse panel, I believe the 30amp is the only 30amp fuse in there, If it is blown replace it, then try the heat again. If nothing or fuse blows again, check the blower motor resistor. This is located under the glove compartment. Do a search on google if that is the case, I was able tofind a solution by putting in "blower motor resistor" ended up buying one for @ 30$.

AC blower won't come on

The problem is most likely the AC compressor clutch connector. It is a one pin connector. Located under the hood, near the clutch of the AC compressor. Clean this connector, make sure there is a good connection. I had the same problem and had to fix it myself. Works fine ever since.

My Blower motor is making a noise when I turn the heat on

There is a Chance that something could have gotten up into the Cover. Got a Wal-Mart Bag in My Trucks about a Month ago. If not you are gonna need to replace that Blower Motor. They have been know to make all kinds of Noises when they get ready to Stop Working.
