New pads are thicker thats why your changing them,
you need a large pair of channel lock pliers and you push the piston back in the caliber,this will push the fluid back up to the master cylinder,don't get nervous if you see it running over,when you are done installing the brakes,remember to pump the brake pedal until you get a full pedal,when you have your full pedal then you can start it up,
