Look under the dash on the drivers side. The switch will directly above the brake pedal. You should see the switch with an electrical connection you can unplug and the nut to take off to remove the switch. Before you put the new switch in notice where the adjustment is on the old switch and put the new one in about the same position. Once installed you will most likely have to make a small adjustment on the adjustment nut and thus the hold down nut. A small adjustment makes a lot of difference. Adjust the new switch so that when the brake pedal is depressed about 1/4 inch the brake light are activated.

I hope you have the problem fixed by now, but, it is the ABS control under the truck. You need to go under the hood and open the fuse box and disconnect the 60 amp fuse for the ABS, this will turn it off before it burns up. This however will also cause the traction assist off light to stay lit all the time. To the fix the problem you can pay tons of money ($700 or so) to have the dealership install a ABS control and the problem will happen again over time. Or, remove it yourself, go on ebay and ship it off to a guy who repairs them for about $150 and you will never have the problem again. Also, if you wrap your cable ends with plastic and protect them good, you can still drive you truck while the part is being worked on. It takes about a week.

I Do Believe that the Light Assembly Comes OUT Via TORX Screws and The Lights are On a Curciut Panel that is then Removed to Gain Access to Bulbe

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

The air bag light will remain illuminated if a fault has been detected in the air bag system.
The onboard computer will need to be interfaced with diagnostic equipment to read the fault.
This is also the only way to reset the light.
Good luck, I hope this helped.
