Remove the intake manifold ,remove radiator ,remove radiator intake and outake housing, remove fan ,remove all belts: power steering, alternator and if you have a/c, remove harmonic balancer ,remove timing belt covers, remove timing belt remove intake housinng once you have remove all the above, your freaken engine will look naked, you can see the location of the knock sensor is locate in the engine valley

Its inside the top end of the motor. There are knock sensor inside the motor. You have to take off the manifold and top half/plate of the motor. Garage charged me 500 bucks to replace a bad sensor. The sensors run 240 bucks.
Changing the belt on your car will not make it idle rough, it would not matter if you put it on backwards, upside down, or inside out. The car would just spin the belt off or chew it up. I think that possibly a sensor wire or a vacuum line was broken or knocked off when you were installing the belt. Look for something like that and I think you will find your problem.
A 2000 Camry with a 4cyl does not have a EGR sensor. The ECU uses the readings from the MAP and AF sensors to determine if the EGR is working. You have a EGR VSV (vacuum switching valve) and a EGR modulator but no position sensor. Only the V6 has this.
