Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

Check the U-joints in the drive lines. They are probably worn out thus making those kick sounds. I also suggest that you bring your car to a local shop and have it diagnosed. I will be really hard to diagnose a car problem if we here at FixYa can't even test drive the car. But I honestly think that its just the U-joint.

I hope this helps. Have a nice day.

Losses key to 1999 jeep grand Cherokee. So I replaced entire steering column but jeep still shuts off in 3 seconds. Any suggestions?

Jeep has a chip in the key sounds like your anti theft is kicking in. The car will only run for a few seconds then shut off. I think it would require reprogramming of your computer. Some times company's on eBay can do the programming for a fraction of the cost

Jeep grand cherokee larado 1999 going above 50

sounds like it time to have the front end balljoints inspected. Only with an inspection will you get the proper results. Why guess, this is a safety issue.

I have a 1999 grand jeep it cut off when im

I just had this problem on my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Once the engine got warm, after about 15 to 20 minutes, the car would just die at random times, sometimes when doing 40 mph and sometimes at idle.

I ended up changing the Crankshaft Position Sensor and it cleared the issue.

No cold air for a.c.

Well Bruno it sounds like you lost freon from your a/c system. The cabin filter wont restrict you from getting cold air.Check that your a/c clutch engages when you turn it on.if it dont you need freon and have to check for leaks

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

It sure sounds like a starter solenoid issue, they act just like that, had exactly the same concern on my car, no crank just clicks under hood, new starter solenoid contacts cured the problem. I don't know if your solenoid is rebuild-able or not, I think it is a Japanese starter so most likely it is.
