Is it harmful to a car to switch between uleaded and premium gas in a car? I have a 2009 Honda CRV and it says in the manuel that I can use anything 87 octane or higher. I have probably switched about 3 different times due to price changes. Should I quit doing this?

The best way to fined out what is leaking is to have a smoke test done at the gas tank, now the gas cap could be fine but the filler neck could be rusted and leaking and you may get the same message as there is NO pressure being created in the gas tank.

If it's an AWD model it is always in four wheel drive. You can not switch in and out of it.

no. it wont hurt anything. i switch octanes in my racecar all the time. and the motor is completely stock. dont worry about a thing.

If u switch you should stay with that grade and not change back.

it aint great but if not done often your car wont complain
