P0440- EVAP Emission Control Sys Malfunction

Something unspecified is wrong with the evaporative emission system. Check vac lines. Could be a loose electrical connection. This code has a very vague description.

P0302- Cyl 2 misfire

Has the car had a tune up in the past few years? Check plugs and wires, test for spark. Maybe a compression test. This issue may cause the next code.

P0172- Fuel trim Bank 1 , too rich

I would clear up the misfire first, then this code might go away.

P1613- MIL Call-up circuit open/Short to B+

Check the wiring under & behind the dash and instrument cluster. There apparently is a wiring issue, or the dash itself is shorted

P0455 and P0302

The P0455 has nothing to do with a air intake leak ! An it would have nothing to do with a P0302 . A air leak , vacuum leak would cause a P0300 random misfire . You have a coil or spark plug wire or spark plug breaking down at higher RPM ! A vacuum leak would not affect higher speed . P0455 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected Gross Leak

1996 Volvo GLT 2.0 valve, got two codes need to know what to do to fix them P0440, P0172.

code p 0440 refers to evaporative emission (EVAP) system---malfunction===causes ---hose connections ---intake leak---EVAP canister purge valve
probably the purge valve needs replacing

code p 0172 refers to system too lean, bank 1===causes --intake blocked , EVAP canister purge valve ---fuel pressure ---EGR system---injector/s HO2S
you will notice that the purge valve is in both codes and it also affects the fuel pressure by not venting the tank correctly
That will account for the fuel pressure problem
I would seek advice from an accredited service specialist that works on your type of car but I would be paying attention to the common fault ( purge valve) before any thing else

I took my car to a mechanic for my check engine light. It came up with 9 codes. P0455, P0172, P0302, P0304, P0305, P0300, P0301, P0303, P0172. I have replaced all the plugs and wires and whatnot. (not sure...

All the P0300 codes are engine miss codes. The P0455 is a catalyst inefficiency code and the P0172 code is a rich mixture code. All of these could be caused by faulty oxygen sensors. What kind of car, engine size and mileage is it?

Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected po302 . Evaporative Emission Control System po440 The last digit on a misfire code indicates the cylinder number. A code P0302, for example, would tell you cylinder #2 is misfiring. Chances are the misfire is due to a weak ignition coil. Did you change the pcv valve? Remember to put the o-ring on the new one or this problem will happen.

My 96 jetta gl speedomator and that whole thing doesnt work, the emergency brake doesnt barely hold up either, i could drive with it up and it wouldn't make a difference, i got the codes P0140, P0141,...

To fix the E brake you have to take the cover off that surrounds the brake lever and behind it is a nut on a cable attached to two other cables with a single nut is your adjuster, tighten it up till the handle is about half way up to fully lock the rear wheels. If the adjuster is all the way back and still can't hold the car then your rear brakes are worn out, replace asap. As for your codes just call up any vdub dealer and ask them to tell you what the codes mean.
