Bypassed alarm. Interior lights stay on..why?

Alarm would not go off. Spliced into Violet/Yellow wire and jumped it to a ground. Now interior lights stay on...? I read that if u remove module with engine running this fixes all(dont even want alarm).Want to remove module all together. Where is it? Or is there an easier solution?

It may be under the rear driver seat, 1994 models were here in this location.

The one In my vehicle was about 6-7 inches long/wide and 2 inches high. It had numerous wire. It looks almost like the "brain module for the car. Definitely check behind the glove box, they are located within that area also.

Headlights are going off, but the flashers and interior lights stay on. Does this sound like a short or a fuse issue?

Could be a short circuit or electronic fault related to the alarm system.

When you wrote flashers, do you mean they are flashing, or are they on continously?

If they are flashing, the alarm system is about the only thing it could be because otherwise there is no relationship between interior lights and exterior flashers. You'll probably have to have it replaced.

If the flashers are on steady, it could be a simple pinched wire grounding out somewhere -- if those systems are ground-switched and happen to share a ground wire. In that case, you'll have to search the wiring diagram for the car, or have an automotive electrician fix it.

2003 ford explorer driver side door opens and closes by itself and interior lights stay on while driving

The opening and closing by itself is either the door being out of alignment or the Door pin being worn and in need of replacement. As far as the interior lights staying on, look for the brightness control for the dashboard lights. If that is turned all the way to the brightest setting there is a position just past that which turns the interior lights on continuous. Make sure it is not in that position. If it is not in that position and the lights are staying on with all doors closed, to include the rears, and you have checked the switch on the dome light itself to make sure it isn't set to ON, then the problem is a switch in one of the door jams being grounded or a wire was tapped into the power circuit for the dome light that has grounded. This happens when the LoJack installer or Alarm installer makes the mistake of tapping the light circuit for power.

Window, interior lights, car alarm and fuse keep on burning out

you have a short circuit or burned out wires somewhere, could be anywhere.
Try disconnecting the alarm, taking the bulb out of the interior lights, and putting in the fuse, if it blows again you know that the alarm or interior lights are not at fault, if it stays good replace the bulb and if it blows theres your faulty circuit, if it stays good then the windows are at fault.
