This may be coming from a factory installed oil cooler. Before you do anything, I would make the dealer aware of your situation because it could be an expensive repair and, after all, it wasn't leaking before the oil change. Thank you, Dana

Cannot find antifreeze leaking on my 2004 volvo s60

Check your oil on the dipstick. It it looks creamy, then antifreeze is leaking into the engine. Another problem may be a high pressure leak when the engine is running and the antifreeze is hot (boiling out). Probably time to see a mechanic if you are adding so often.

I have just replaced the coolant in my 2012 T5 VW with the 2.0 biturbo diesel and now it's over heating, do I have to bleed the cooling system?

Right dont think their is a bleed out on this motor ,fill it up run engine till warm then allow to coool and check the level again, should be ok unless you have another problem that you havent stated previously like why did you change the antifreeze in the first place ,stop reading all these s t u p i d books by little more than technical writers who think they know it all and know sweet FFFFFFF all .You only change antifreeze if a leak or a component change .Yes i know what they say but beleave me you will change a hose or water pump before the antifreeze needs changing.Leave well alone while a motor runs just do a regular oil change every 5000 miles witha oil filter every third oil change ,inspect everything but leave it alone and stop reading these sunday drivers type book .

Leaking antifreeze

A freeze plug in the cooling system in the block is rusting through. A 1$ part that costs a lot more to get to and replace.

My 1995 F250 is leaking radiator fluid under the engine behind the fan

Is antifreeze coming from "weep" hole in bottom of case under shaft nose?
is it coming from the heater hose (small hose coming of side and going into firewall to heater core inside engine compartment?
is it coming from bad gasket between pump and front case?

get a paper towel and dry these areas then start engine. when it starts leaking that will tell you if you need to change the water pump (gasket leak or weep hole shaftseal leak) or if you just need to replace/repair heater hose.

My 96 jetta 2.0 is leaking oil from the top of the oil filter mounting area where the water hoses connect to it.it looks like it has two or three pieces bolted together might be plastic.can I take apart...

The oil is most likely leaking from the oil cooler seal. The oil cooler is the square aluminum piece that the oil filter screws onto. To replace the seal, remove the filter, remove both coolant hoses that attach to the cooler, remove the nut that secures the cooler to the block and slide the cooler off the tube. Replace the rubber o-ring seal which is available at the VW dealer. It's inexpensive. Replace everything in reverse order. Good luck

Antifeeze leak on my 2000 VW Beetle Turbo

Most likely a leaky gasket. The water pump is a likely candidate, but also could be from a bad radiator hose/thermostat connection. Would suggest washing down the engine with a hose connected to the hot water. While the engine is cold use the hose to wash off the oil & grease deposits and old antifreeze. Allow the engine to dry without running the car. Once dry start the car and be prepared to look for the first sign of a leak. Sounds like a dealer issue since there is very little work clearence between the front of the engine and the car body. Barely enough room to be able to change the serpentine belt.
