First check to see if you have a fuel filter. It will be located between tank and engine. Apparently, some Envoys do not have a filter, just a screen mounted on underside of fuel pump which is in fuel tank.
Go underneath the SUV and find the Fuel tank. from their find the gas line that runs to your engine. follow that line and eventually you will come across a circular piece attach to the line. Thats youre filter.
the fuel filter on a 2005 envoy is under the truck on the drivers side in the middle you have to take off the protector plate to see it you vant miss it
