Well you might have a vaccum leak try looking for a loose hose in the front by the engine look at the hose diagram in your truck and make sure all the hoses are properly connected and in good condition this might solve your issue. good luck let me know how it went.

How do i fix the heater in my 2001 jeep grand cherokee

If the heater hoses are hot, the problem may be a faulty blend door under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

2003 jeep grand cherokee heater problem

Jeep Grand Cherokee is notorious for broken blend-air doors. This is the door inside the A/C-heater housing that switches the air from hot to cold. You must remove the dash to repair it.

It sounds like you blend door is broken. It is about an 8 hour job to tear the dash apart and replace the actuators that control blending of hot and cold air under your dash.

No hot air control

Probably broken blend doors if everything else is working, but its just blowing cold air. Do a google search for "Jeep Blend Doors" or "Heater treater" for more info.

2001 jeep heater on passenger side not working

there should be a small valve attached to a hose coming from the engine into the firewall this valve directs the hot engine coolant into the heater radiator in the heater box it probably is closed open it and, you should have heat then: it should be easy to find the reason it was closed
