Everyone should at least own an owners manual for their vehicle. Many problems have answers in these manuals. Also contains types of fluids, etc for your specific vehicle. Along with this, the larger book can be purchased at places such as Auto Zone. These books contain much more info.....They have helped me a great deal and I am a girl...now that my Father is deceased, I depend greatly on them (my Father was my life-saver when it came to car/truck repairs.) He knew it all and also had a body shop and no-one could compete with his work. He was the best! I even brought my 78 z-28 for him to paint with black laquer, since the body shop there totally messed up the job. It looked perfect! I have to say that he did teach me much, since I did watch him do his work. I am greatful and actually can do body work myself, along with other mechanical things. So, if you can not watch and learn, get books, or pay someone. Good luck.

check your transmission fluid level with the engine running and the gear in neutral. be sure to engage the parking brake. that model also requires a special fluid or a friction modifier (additive).

How do I reset the service brakes soon light on a 2008 chevy suburban

{: ) It depends on how serious the fault is. It could be the wirings. However you can at least try these steps. The most important is to check for proper brake fluid level, and carefully inspect for brake fluid leaks. Check also your brake lights if working properly. Also check the parking brakes if the light responds as you engage or disengage the park brake lever.
