During the winter, try using a higher octane gas. it fires off quicker which will start the car faster. Put about 1/2 tank of high octane, this will also clean the valves and injectors. I usually put a bottle of octane booster in my 2001 expedition 2x's a year. It has octane rating of 109. only one bottle per full tank. t sounds like it just needs a cleaning. If you can stand the cold weather, clean your throttle body which will make a big difference. Follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to it's ending point, that is your thermostat. Can be aggravating to change.
