The cable has come off the front passenger window. Can't see how it hooks back onto lifting mechanism.

It sounds like your motor may have died...or possibly a bad fuse?
If its not a bad fuse... You may have to remove door panel and disengage the motor and lift the window up manually. Then hook the motor back up to keep it from dropping back down. If you do not feel comfortable doing this. Take it to your local mechanic or dealership to have it fixed.

Needs a new motor mechanism ,one of the lifting cables has jammed up and its a complete unit iam afraid ,price varies on the part but i would expect to pay trade price between 70 to 120 euros for this mechanism

Use a wrench to loosen the bolt and nut assembly that secures the negative battery cable to the battery, then lift the cable away from the battery.

2 Apply the parking brake and raise the front of the car with a jack, then lower the vehicle onto two jack stands. Place one jack stand on each side of the front of the vehicle, under the frame.

3 Access the starter from underneath the passenger's side of the Falcon. The starter is between the engine and the transmission and looks like a large coffee can.

4 Remove the battery cable from the side of the starter. The cable slides over a threaded stud and is secured with a single nut. Remove the nut with a wrench, then lift the cable away from the starter.

5 Remove the two flywheel-to-starter retaining bolts with a wrench, then pull the starter toward the front of the vehicle to remove it.

6 Position the replacement starter against the flywheel housing, then install and tighten the two flywheel-to-starter retaining bolts with a wrench.

7 Slide the battery cable onto the threaded stud on the side of the starter, then install and tighten the retaining nut with a wrench to secure the cable in place.

8 Lift the vehicle with the floor jack, remove the jack stands, and lower the Falcon to the ground.

9 Position the negative battery cable onto the battery terminal, then tighten the cable into place with a wrench.

If this is what I am thinking of it is called a window regulator. Which consist of a frame and the window motor. Usually they only sell this as one unit. which makes it quite a bit more expensive and most of the time the motor will work just fine.

remove the little cosmetic piece of the mirror inside the car, remove the door pull, remove the opener lever disconnecting the snaps holding the mechanism to the rods. get a tool and go around the edges and bottom loosening the snaps. open the window and lift the door panel up and out. replace the speakers. put the panel back on in reverse order. install the pull and the cosmetic piece. go get drunk. wake up the next day and with a set of needle nose pliers attempt to hook those snaps back onto the rods and reinstall the opener lever mechanism.

remove the interior trim panel to gain access to the inside of the door.
you will have to replace the whole mechanism as you cant buy just the cable.
you should be able to use the electric motor off the one that is in the car now
you also may have to use a drill to remove the pop rivets holding the mechanism onto the door if it is attached that way, mine was, I used bolts with nylock nuts to re attach the winder as I could not locate a place that sold that size pop rivet

Lift wiper arm from rear window. then release latch that holds the blade to the wiper arm.( It's small tab)

Procedure:

Remove battery cover located under the hood on the passenger side in the back. Simply pry the plastic catch in the front, open it like a lid and jiggle it loose and set it aside.
Use the small flat screwdriver to pop up the center peg in the five peripheral fasteners holding down the plastic compartment cover that you just removed the battery cover from. Each of these has a small black plastic circular flat topped center peg inside a larger plastic circular disk which has 4 slots under which you can slide the screwdriver to pop up the center peg. When the peg pops up simply slide the screwdriver under the larger disk to remove the assembly and loosen that site of fixation. When all five fasteners are out you can remove the entire compartment cover.
The battery terminals are removed with the 10mm wrench
The black box in front of the battery can be lifted out of the way by pressing on the plastic catch in the front of the box to loosen it from the metal flange that it is attached to.
The metal battery holder is removed with the 10 mm wrench. The nut is removed and the long bolt is slid out of the holder and then unhooked from it's bottom anchor. Jiggle the metal bar over the top of the battery to unhook the back hook from its bottom anchor. It may be necessary to lift the plastic over the back of the battery gently and lift out the soft clear plastic washer fluid tube from its guides to get at the back hook.
Gently lift the battery out while holding the cables out of the way.
Tools required:

sounds like bad regulator, pull your door panel apart and it is the part that goes onto the motor. long bow shaped thing with cable attached. pop out rivets, (I think 3 rivets) and on the upper side there are 2 nuts that have to be removed. then wiggle it around till you can get it out of the biggest hole in door. start with poppin out the black piece that looks inline with the mirror, they are on pop out plastic rivits. but be careful to pull them out. then pop out your door lock window like panel, you know where you unlock your doors ant roll the windows up from the front of the piece then tilt it back then simply unplug the modules hooked onto it. theres a couple of screws along the whole door panel and you gotta look for them, once you find them all then to take the door panel off, simple lift the entire panel up and out.. there placed on hooks so they wont *** out..remember to be forceful but be easy when doing all this...
