Replace the Accessories Relay located in the IPM Fuse and Relay box located in the Engine Compartment. There should be an Spare Relay that is the same Type (size and shape). If no Spare Relay select a non-engine operation Relay that is the same Type and switch-out the Accessory Relay for this one. For example the Rear Blower Motor Relay. Then check the operations of the Headlights, all gauges, inside lights and wipers. And check the Rear Blower. If the Headlights ect work now, it was a bad Relay and should be replaced. Especially if the Rear Blower Motor is rendered useless.

Also forgot to add: There is a Junction Box located under the left side of the Dash. First check here, as snow got into your dash and water most likely has gotten into this area/box. These Relays and Fuses should be checked first before going to the IPM which is actualy called a PDC Power Distribution Center in the engine compartment.

My headlights and dash lights flicker and now my wipers dont work

If the car cranks well then might have a loose connection to dashboard or a bad ground. I don't think this is much help but might be a starting place.

1983 chevy caprice classic my dashboard lights dont work and also the clock stops working when i turn the lights on

Probably bad ground in the dash circuitry. You'll have to pull it out and check all the connections. Big job.

Battery replaced. Now, wipers, dash gauges, locks dont work and headlights stay on?

check all the fuses and replace any that are blown. also check beattery wires and make sure the positive wires are not touching anything metal.look for burnt marks or black spots on the wires too. also have the battery fuse/relay checked.

Wipers dont work my front or rear wipers do not work just bought the van what are the odds that they both dont work where is the fuse box located found fuses and relays under the hood but could not find on...

On newer cars the fuse box is normally on the side of the dashboard, next to the driver door, you need to have that door open to see the pop off cover. The fuses should be labeled on the cover, and/or fuse slot.

Ok, 2003 GMC Safari AWD 245,000 km. Drove 100km

sounds like an ignition switch glitch or ignition harness problem can be either depending on the amount of wear and tear with turning on and off of the ignition tumbler or possible chafing or inconsistent short in harness to ignition switch check the ground line up through harness first and check the wiring harness condition

1989 Mustang, dashboard lights occasionally go out or flicker when it happens wipers don't work, and gauges go out of wack i.e. temp gauge maxes out tach doesn't work, etc.....please help.....i've replaced...

Sounds like you may have a short where the fusebox is. Take out the instrument panel and check the circuitry for black spots or and type of arcing or shorts.

1998 Ford Escort dashboard warning lights and gauges not working.

Sounds like possibly the ignition switch is going out. Try jiggling the key in the ignition in the on position and see if your lights come back on.

Have a problem with my dashboard lights they dont light up.

Is the headlight switch turned all the way to illuminate the dashboard lights? If it is, check the fuse for instrument panel, also marked as instrument cluster.
