Check wiring to your starter make sure all the wires are secure. Its mainly sounds like you need a new starter. If you hear it clicking it is likely engaging just not spinning
if anti theft module not communication with scanner or diagnostic hook up then your vehicle will probably not start till thats corrected and clicking sounds like relay from security system opening up and shutting down power for starting system
The security light being on is why your vehicle will not start. You need to get the codes to find out what is causing the problem. What you can do is when you try to start it and let go of the key but leave it to the run position the security light will come on and stay on for ten minutes. When it goes off turn the key off and then try to start it.The theft module relearns the key and it should start. Then you can take it to a repair shop and get it fixed. You can call ahead and make sure there is a shop that can diagnose and repair this problem.Hope this helps.Good luck.
start by troubleshoot the alternator, your Car Battery and, Starter. It has to be one of the tree, it could also be the terminal wires connected to one of the three components.
The keys have security codes in them. If the key does not match the one the vehicle is looking for it won't start. You need to take the key and vehicle to a dealer to be reprogramed. Or if you just bought a key and have the old one, take the two keys to a dealer so the old key code can be copied to the new one.
Hi .
unlikely to be immobiliser fault ,so check basics, try a set of jump leads or check battery voltage above 12.5,if the clicking is coming from the starter motor with a fully charged battery then suspect starter motor failure.

If you're not hearing a click from the starter check for a starter relay. May be burned out! DO you hear the fuel pump kick in when you turn the key on? If not something might have triggered your security system and locked you out!
