Chevy Suburban 2004. Intermittent popping sound coming from front driver side at tire or that general area. Normally happens at higher speeds. Drove 200 miles last week popped twice. Drove 20 miles last night it popped repeatedly for about 20 seconds then stopped. Popped once 5 miles later. Vibration under driver's feet but no notable vibration felt elsewhere. Truck backs up fine. Has happened in both 2WD mode and AWD mode. Have not tried 4WD high and low.

I had a similar sound coming from my 2004 surburban. It was so random, that I took it to a dealership. It turned out that my parking brake shoe had busted and was floating inside the drum. But it sounded like the CV joint or universal joint was going to fall apart. Cost me $80.00 to have it REMOVED!

I had a similar problem, it turned out to be the front U joints. Have them checked very soon! I drove mine for a while before fixing and my tires were ready to fall off. Could have caused a very bad accident.

I have 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 and I cannot drive it more then 50mph on the high way because starts to jump as if I have a flat tire it feels front right side and I have to stop then I can continue...

Typically it sounds like wheel balancing, although the speed at which it starts is just on the low side (normally 60-65 mph), but not impossible, and combine that with shock absorber problems it is quite possible.

Slight vibration feeling

is it a buzzing type sound? That can happen both the driver and passengerside. there is a white clip that locks the dash to the firewall. you need to get at it as stick a piece of felt to stop the vibration. but it is very tough to reach..

Clicking sound coming from the driver's side rear by the tire

Remove the rear rotors to check the emergency brake pads. The rivets can rust and the pads will slide around. They will click at slow speeds. Drove me crazy for weeks.
